The Leading Fair for Contemporary Ceramics, now in its eighth year! This is the opportunity to meet 78 leading makers from Britain and abroad, to see their works and buy the perfect one-off piece of art. An essential destination for collectors, enthusiasts, Sunday browsers, teachers and students alike to learn about this dynamic art form.
New directions from established makers such as James & Tilla Waters, Eddie Curtis and John Higgins are just some of the treats that will tempt you to CAL 2012. Sculptural pots from Polish exhibitor Monika Patuszynska and translucent porcelain by Omur Tokgoz from Turkey provide examples of an International perspective. The range of new work reflects an expanding interest in ceramics. Twenty exciting new fresh exhibitors join old favourites at the show at the Royal College of Art.
Internationally established exhibitors, Eddie Curtis, Thomas Bohle and Uwe Loellmann continue to attract a growing number of buyers to CAL. It is important that there is something for every purse and every taste!
“I was at CAL last year, and only have words of praise for the organization and layout of the whole exhibition. I was flabbergasted with Valéria Nascimento’s airy stand. It was an asset for the exhibition to be so inviting at the entrance. Her subtle though captivating installations left me speechless” Alfredo Eandrade
